85. अनुक्षणं every moment यत् that परिहृत्य to be given up कृत्यम् to be done अनाद्यविद्याकृतबन्धमोक्षणम् freedom from the bondage created by the beginning-less ignorance देहः body परार्थोयम् which is an object for others to enjoy अमुष्य this पोषणे to nourish यः सज्जते passionately seeks स he स्वमनेन himself by it हन्ति kills (Whoever leaves aside what should always be attempted, that is freedom from the bondage of beginning-less ignorance, and passionately seeks to nourish this body, commits suicide.)
86. शरीरपोषणार्थी one who nourishes the body सन् being य one who आत्मानं ātmā दिदृक्षति desires to see ग्राहं crocodile दारुधिया mistaking for a log धृत्या catching hold of नदीं river तर्तुं to cross स he इच्छति desires (Whoever seeks to know ātmā, while devoted to the nourishment of the body, proceeds to cross a river by catching hold of a crocodile, mistaking it for a log.)
87. मोहः attachment एव alone महामृत्युः great death मुमुक्षोः for the seeker वपुरादिषु in the body etc मोहः attachment विनिर्जितः thoroughly conquered येन by whom  स he मुक्तिपदम् freedom अर्हति deserves (Attachment for things like the body is a great death for a seeker. He who has thoroughly  conquered this deserves freedom.)
88. मोहं attachment जहि Conquer महामृत्युं the great death देहदारसुतादिषु with reference to body, wife and children यं whom जित्वा having conquered मुनयो sages यान्ति reach तद्विष्णोः of viṣṇu परमं absolute पदम् abode (Conquer the great death of attachment with reference to body, wife, children etc., conquering which sages reach that supreme abode of Viṣṇu.) 
89. त्वङ्मांसरुधिरस्नायुमेदोमज्जास्थि संकुलम् conglomerate of the skin, flesh, blood, arteries and veins, fat, marrow and bones पूर्णं filled with मूत्रपूरीषाभ्यां with urine and fecal matter स्थूलं inert निन्द्यम् to be deprecated इदं this वपुः body (This gross body is to be deprecated for it is conglomerate of the skin, flesh, blood, arteries and veins, fat, marrow and bones, and is filled with urine and fecal matter.) 
90. पञ्चीकृतेभ्यः grossified भूतेभ्यः elements स्थूलेभ्यः gross पूर्वकर्मणा because of the past action समुत्पन्नम् produced इदं this स्थूलं gross भोगायतनम् locale for experience अात्मनः of the individual अवस्था state जागरः waking तस्य of him स्थूलार्थानुभवः perception of gross objects यतः in  which  (The gross body is produced by one’s past actions out of the gross elements formed by the union of the subtle elements with each other, and is the medium of experience for the individual. That is its waking state in which it perceives gross objects.) 
91. बाह्येन्द्रियैः with external organs स्थूलपदार्थसेवां enjoying of the gross objects स्रकचन्दनस्त्र्यादि such as garlands, sandal paste and woman  विचित्ररूपां of variegated form करोति does जीवः the individual स्वयम् itself एतद् अात्मना with this form तस्मात् therefore प्रशस्तिः fame वपुषः of the body अस्य of this जागरे in the waking stat (Identifying itself with this form the individual enjoys gross objects, such as garland, sandal-paste and woman by means of the external organs. Therefore there is fame of this body in the waking state.) 
92. सर्वः entire अपि बाह्यसंसारः external world पुरुषस्य man’s यद् on which  आश्रयः  rests  विद्धि Know देहम् body इदं this स्थूलं gross गृहवद् like a house गृहमेधिनः of a householder (Know this gross body to be like a house to the householder, on which rests man’s entire dealing with the external world.) 
93. स्थूलस्य of the gross body सम्भवजरामरणानि Birth, decay and death  धर्माः  characteristics  स्थौल्यादयो fatness etc बहुविधाः variegated शिशुताद्यवस्थाः  stages like childhood etc वर्णाश्रमादिनियमा restrictions like varṇa and aśrama बहुधा various यमाः diseases स्युः are there  पूजावमानबहुमानमुखा worship, insult and high honors विशेषाः specialties (Characteristics like birth, decay and death, etc., various conditions like fatness, etc., stages like childhood, etc., restrictions like varṇa and āśrama, etc., various diseases and special treatments like worship, insult and high honors, etc. belong to the gross body only.)
